Nine Months - Finished
Seven/Torres pairing.
This story outline was actually the
first 7/T story I ever thought of, but for various reasons
didn't write. Instead I started on "I am Borg," but the
story idea has always stayed with me.
So after two years of hanging around in
the back of my mind, I finally decided to write it out.
At it's heart, it is a H/C
(hurt/comfort) story. It strives to create an environment
and events, that lead the two protagonists, from their initial
dislike of each other, to eventually loving one another.
The story develops the nurturing and
caretaking aspects of Seven of Nine's character as shown in
episodes like "Bliss." And matures the character of
Torres, from the constantly angry, frequently callously
insensitive one, episodes such as "Real Life" and "Hope and
Fear" come to mind, into a more responsible, steady, and
protective one.
Does it come across that I really
disliked some of the ways they developed the Torres character in
the show? *grin*
